Starting today, Instagram will begin allowing search engines to index and display your public photos and videos in search results by default for professional accounts.
What this means:
– Your public content could start appearing in Google, Bing, etc.
– More people might find your Instagram profile and posts via search, not just on Instagram.
– You can opt out anytime in your privacy settings, or via the prompt now showing in-app.
