TikTok launches “Pmax”

Emirhan Bayutmuş discovered that TikTok has launched GMV Max Campaigns, a new automated ad format for TikTok Shop, similar to Google’s Performance Max.

GMV Max automatically selects top-performing creatives, optimizes placements, and simplifies campaign setup.

Starting September 1, old custom shop ads can no longer be created GMV Max will be the default for TikTok Shop campaigns.
