Log in to your Google Ads account and click the Campaigns icon.
In the Campaigns drop-down menu, click on Ad groups.
Use the filter bar to select the campaign that contains the ad group you want to adjust.
Select the specific ad group you want to modify.
Click on the Settings tab.
Alternatively, you can click the gear icon next to the selected ad group in the table to open the Settings panel directly.
In the Settings panel, expand the “Optimized targeting” section.
Uncheck the checkbox to turn off optimized targeting.
Click Save to apply the changes.
