Search ads now match on the language of your ads, so the campaign-level language targeting setting no longer exists. It is live in at least one account.
Performance Max: the campaign language setting no longer applies to ads on the Google Search Network, which now work like standard Search campaigns. It still applies to YouTube, Display, Discover and Gmail. Shopping ads in PMax are not affected.
Watch out: your ad copy and landing page now decide who sees the ad. Don't mix languages inside one ad group.
My tip: separate campaigns per language still make sense, now for budget control and reporting rather than targeting.
