Reddit has introduced new Dynamic Product Ad (DPA) updates aimed at making it easier for ecommerce brands to advertise and drive purchases on the platform. Key additions include:
Collection Ads format: Combines a lifestyle “hero” image with shoppable product tiles in a carousel to connect product discovery with direct buying.
Early users have reported about an 8% increase in return on ad spend (ROAS).
Community and Deal overlays: Labels such as “Redditors’ Top Pick” and automatic discount callouts add social proof and highlight pricing without extra setup.
Shopify integration (alpha): Simplifies catalog and tracking setup, helping advertisers automatically match products to relevant users and discussions.
Performance data shows strong momentum: Reddit’s DPA achieved 91% higher ROAS year-over-year in Q4 2025, and one brand (Liquid I.V.) says DPA generates 33% of its Reddit revenue and outperforms other conversion campaigns by 40%.
These updates come as shopping conversations on Reddit have grown 40% year-over-year, with 84% of shoppers reporting greater purchase confidence after researching products on the platform.
