Google Business Agent can now be enabled directly from Shopify through the Google & YouTube app.
The AI-powered shopping assistant appears in Google Search and lets shoppers ask questions about a brand and its products.
Shopify merchants can now set it up through the Google & YouTube app, which automatically imports their logo, brand colors, and support details and provides suggested welcome messages and conversation starters.
Previously, Business Agent could only be activated through Merchant Center or a brand’s Google Search profile. Advanced settings, such as tone of voice, are still managed in Merchant Center.
