Bad , Better , Best Product Titles

Most product titles don’t fail because of the product.

They fail because no one can find them.

Here’s the difference:

❌ Bad Title
“Running Shoes”
→ Too generic, no visibility, no clicks

⚠️ Better Title
“Men’s Running Shoes – Lightweight Trainers”
→ More descriptive, but still broad

✅ Best Title
“Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40 Men’s Running Shoes – Lightweight, Breathable, Size 10”

→ Specific, searchable, built for intent

That’s the game.

Not creativity.

Not branding.

👉 Clarity + search intent.

The best product titles:

• Start with brand + product type
• Include key attributes (size, color, material)
• Match how people actually search
• Remove fluff and vague words

Because if your product doesn’t show up…

…it doesn’t sell.

Quick test:

If someone searched for your product,

would your title exactly match what they typed?

Or would it get lost?
