Anthropic announced it has raised $30 billion in a Series G funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to about $380 billion, one of the largest private funding rounds in tech.
The round was led by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC and investment firm Coatue, with participation from a broad group of prominent investors.
The company says the new capital will be used to expand frontier AI research, product development, and infrastructure, primarily around its Claude family of AI models.
Anthropic has seen rapid revenue growth, reporting a substantial run-rate driven by enterprise adoption of its tools.
