Okay, so I did not want to make the title too much clickbaity so I said CAN cost you money.
Google has some settings and suggestions that you really need to think about when you make a campaign:
– pre-selection of the display and search network
– give direct budget advice in the campaign ( can be a lot higher for small companies)
– automatically use a conversion-based bid strategy (ask yourself does this fit me?)
– auto opt for optimized targeting (display)
– if you type in a keyword this is automatically a broad match (lots of business owners don’t match types)
– pre-select conversions in the making of a campaign
*Note all these settings can work but you must know what you are doing.
