Google ads is changing the URL expansion functionality. Last week we saw this change for the first time. Below Dario Zannoni made a picture that shows how this functionality is changing. This change gives users more control on Automatic text assets and URLs.

Felix Kohmaier found out that Google has released reporting on asset group level for Pmax! You can find this reporting on the table view. When you arrive there you can adjust the columns with metrics like: – performance metrics– attributes– conversions If you don’t see this reporting don’t worry the roll-out can take some time

While Google’s advertising revenue is a bit down. Bing Ads are up by 3.4%. LinkedIn Ads are up by 7.6%. Even though Bing Ads is growing they still have a long way to go if they really want to compete with Google Ads.

The Alphabet 2023 Q1 numbers are out! Some findings: – Youtube revenue is down by 2.6%– revenue of $69.8 billion, 3% up YoY– Google Cloud is for the first time ever profitable– Total Google Advertising spend is lower.

Yesterday some users were experiencing problems in Google Ads. Those problems are now fixed.

Starting in June new Google Ads accounts can not include a URL in their account name.
