Reddit has announced DSA for products

Georgi Zayakov sent me a message that Reddit has introduced Dynamic Product Ads, a new feature in its shopping suite, now available in public beta.

This addition allows advertisers to reach potential customers while they’re exploring, discussing, and deciding on purchases.

Why it’s important: Reddit’s increased visibility in Google Search has likely led to more organic traffic, including product-related searches.

According to Reddit, Dynamic Product Ads resulted in a 1.9x increase in Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) compared to standard conversion campaigns, based on Q1 testing results.

How it works: The Dynamic Product Ads feature combines shopping signals, machine learning, and advertiser product catalogs.

This setup helps serve the most relevant products, converting user intent into action by connecting people with the products they seek at the right time.

Key features: Reddit advertisers can expect the following:

Instant campaign creation: Ads are auto-populated in real-time with the latest images, pricing, and product information from an advertiser’s catalog.

New targeting options:

Retargeting: Ads are shown to people who have previously interacted with products on the advertiser’s site.

Prospecting: Ads are shown for relevant products based on user engagement on Reddit or advertiser websites.

Support across the purchase journey: Ads can be displayed in various formats (single image or carousel) and placed within feed and conversation to engage users in different stages of the purchase journey, including discovery, consideration, and decision-making.

Availability: Dynamic Product Ads are currently available in public beta for all Reddit advertisers worldwide.

The supported languages include English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese through the Reddit Ads Manager.
