Unique Reach is a metric that measures the total number of individual people who saw your ad. It helps advertisers understand how many real users were reached, instead of only looking at impressions.
An impression is counted every time an ad is shown, even if the same person sees it multiple times on different devices. Unique Reach estimates how many different users those impressions represent. For example, if one person sees your ad on a mobile phone, laptop, and tablet, this counts as three impressions but only one unique user.
Unique Reach also takes into account situations like co-viewing on connected TVs, where multiple people may watch the same ad together.
Key Unique Reach metrics include:
- Unique users – the estimated number of individual people who saw your ad
- Average impression frequency per user – how often, on average, each person saw your ad
These metrics help advertisers better understand audience coverage, control ad frequency, and plan campaigns more effectively across devices and platforms.
