Conversion Cycle

A conversion cycle is the amount of time between when someone clicks your ad and when that click results in a conversion, such as a purchase or lead. If conversions are imported from another system, the conversion cycle can also include the time it takes before the conversion is reported in Google Ads.

Understanding your conversion cycle is important because performance data is not always visible immediately. Some conversions can take hours or days to happen, which means recent campaign results may still change.

You can use reports in Google Ads, such as the bid strategy report, to see how long it typically takes customers to convert and to estimate how many conversions may still be recorded based on your historical data.
