Social Insider has done a study on short video content.

In this study, they researched: TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Some findings:

– TikTok gains double the comments Instagram Reels and Shorts get
– TikTok makes for the most engaging short-form video content platform
– Reels score the highest watch rate, and YouTube Shorts the lowest
– Brands post 2x more content on TikTok.
