Twitter Placement Google Ads

I have had a look into the placements and I saw that you can directly focus on the X app. I did not see the website when I searched for it. You can add that manually but I have no idea if that works.

Automatically adds products in Merchant Center

A month ago Arpan Banerjee sent me this new tool where Google automatically adds products in Merchant Center.

This week Denie Geertzen tagged me in the latest post from Martijn Beumerwhere he tells more about this feature.

One of the interesting things is that Martijn sees a gradual expansion of this feature across more and more Producthero Merchant Centers.

So this new feature is something you should keep an eye on. For more information read.

Offer rewards policy update

Barry Schwartz found out that On October 31, 2023, Google will update its policies for ads that offer rewards to allow indirect or non-monetary items to be offered as rewards.

Some examples from Amit Saha are loyalty rewards/points, product free shipping, product or service free trial, game character extra life, and game character skin. For more information read the message or visit this page.

Khushal Bherwani found this new LSA test from Google where Google is expanding the picture when you scroll.

Google Ads Data Manager

Wow! Google has launched Google Ads Data Manager. With this product, Google will help businesses manage and use your 1 party data in one place.

This tool will for example simplify the enablement of enhanced conversions for leads and Customer Match.

Google Ads Data Manager is rolling out and will become generally available in Google Ads in early 2024.

Next year, Google will bring this solution to additional Ads products to continue streamlining the management and use of first-party data.

New GA4 feature

Jos IJntema found a new feature in GA4 called calculated metrics! This feature is not announced by Google yet.

New button Google Ads

So a lot of people were complaining about finding the campaign settings in the newest version of Google Ads. Looks like Google is now testing with a campaign setting button. I also found this for Ad group settings. This picture is from the old design but when I switched it was also in the new design.

Looker Studio update

Google has released some updates for Looker Studio:

– set auto refresh on a report

– [Pro] Looker Studio Mobile app

– Table Drilling and Table Tooltips

For more information read the announcement.

Business report error

Geert Groot sent me a screenshot yesterday about the September Business report. He found that it looked like it had a bug I myself found it too!

New shopping attribute

Emmanuel Flossie found this new attribute called limited availability. He later wrote that a partner can use values 2 or 1 to indicate limited availability.

Update Local Services Platform Policies

Google is going to update the Local Services Platform Policies. On 13 November 2023, Google will consolidate the existing Local Services Ads photos guidelines on the same page as the Local Services platform policies.
