It suggests three key actions:

Align your account structure with AI:

Consolidate single-keyword ad groups into themed ad groups to enhance Smart Bidding optimization.

Grouping keywords with similar themes facilitates Google’s understanding and selection of the best ad for each query.

Bring your match types together:

Merge all match types of themed ad groups into one, focusing primarily on broad match.

This simplification avoids segmenting data and maximizes Smart Bidding efficiency, as broad match utilizes all available signals to understand intent.

Consolidate and clean up:

Remove device segmentation and streamline campaigns based on business objectives.

Eliminating duplicate and non-serving keywords reduces complexity and potential errors in campaign management.
