Websites built and hosted on Google Business Profiles are now being redirected to the Business Profile listing on Google Maps.
Originally scheduled for March 1, 2024, the shutdown was delayed by five days. The redirects will cease to function after June 10, 2024, resulting in a “Page not found” error.
Google recommends alternative platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress to build new websites.
It’s essential for businesses to transition to a new website builder and update their Google Business Profile with the new URL to avoid disruption!
