Google Expands Markup for Organizational Details and Logo Data!

Since 2013, Google has recognized logo structured data with fields like logo and URL.

With this update, Google is extracting additional administrative data such as name, address, contact information, and business identifiers.

Users can continue specifying their logo and URL for search results.

This expanded support allows Google to utilize markup in knowledge panels and other visual elements, aiding users in finding organization details on Google Search.

As part of this, the logo documentation is merged into the new organization documentation.

Existing logo reports in Search Console are replaced with more comprehensive organization validations in the Rich Results Test.

For those who have already added logo and URL fields via organization markup, no action is needed; Google still understands the logo markup.

However, organizations are encouraged to add new fields if applicable. The Rich Results Test now also includes organization validations.
